Our Mission
Pursuit of Purpose Journey is a women’s empowerment group designed for women to assist them on their journey to finding out what their purpose is in life and how to live it out. The group was influenced by the book “Who Am I?” Written by Dr. Shannon, who sheds light on her journey to find purpose, deliverance, and healing. She expresses the process in which she traveled to shed off the influences of the world, in an endeavor to find the person God created her to be. In her pursuit of purpose, something was ignited in Dr. Shannon to share with others what she discovered and to let them know that they are not alone.
In 2017 Dr. Shannon launched P.O.P Journey Women’s Empowerment Group, creating a safe place for women to discuss thought-provoking conversations that will help to bring awareness and application of tools. Her mission is to empower and educate women on how to overcome obstacles and walk in the power and authority God has given them to live a fulfilled life. She is committed to helping women transition from trauma to triumph. She believes that “awareness is the path to healing and wholeness” and a loving community is a supportive force that keeps one focusing forward.
